After more than a decade cutting long-form films in Avid, for
Discovery+, Fox, Amazon and Viacom Studios, the thing I missed most
whenever I cut in Premiere was Avid's copy to clipboard. So I built
Clip Bin.
Premiere's Make Subsequence gets you part of the way, but every one
lands in your project as another _Sub_01, and by the end of
a day there are dozens. Editors who work this way end up with a junk folder
they tidy by hand. Clip Bin does the filing for you, and keeps the list
where you can see it.
The first time I used it on a real job was on a sizzle edit, on the
day of delivery. The client had requested shot changes, and I held
twelve new shots in the panel, each renamed with a clear description,
so I could audition them in the cut.
No more trying to remember where each one lived, and no going back to
another timeline or the project panel to find them. It worked
a treat.

Why not just copy and paste?
Because if anything is still selected in your timeline, the next copy
grabs that instead of your marks, with no heads up. You only find out
when the wrong material lands.
Can't I just pancake two timelines?
For moving between two sequences, yes, and plenty of editors do. It
needs screen space you may not have, and it copes badly with a
multi-track sequence. It doesn't help inside a single cut, where
there's no second timeline to stack.
How do I know it copied the right thing?
Because you can see it. It arrives in your source monitor, and the
panel keeps a list, so you're not holding the clipboard in your head
and hoping.
